Gradually out of mowhere, a chime came from Rouge and Shadow's Room. It was a tingling little
sound... It flowed perfectly, with a snapping beat, and two voices morphing the chime together.
Sonic was lifted from his bed, by the tones he heard at this chime...
He found himself at the room where it was coming from, and two signs from back-to-back on the door that
read:
"Shadow's Room: STAY OUT!"
and, "Rouge's Cuddley Wuddley Palace of Dreams! Come in if you'd like!"
Two unlikely people to be boyfriend and girlfriend... but I guess they don't have to have much in common
to fall in love... The only real thing me and Amy have in common is that we're both hedgies... Sonic thought to himself.
The song ended, and one voice, a welcoming voice, that was that of Shadow's came through the door.
"That was great, Rouge! But, maybe you could try snapping on beat, next time..." Shadow's constructive criticism
came through the door.
Little did neither of the two know, Sonic had just recorded their whole song, along with Shadow's nice comments
to Rouge.
Sonic didn't knock on the door at all.
He knew it was opened, so he just slid himself right on in, and said, "Nice..."
The two roommates were shocked.
It was 30 minutes past midnight, so they would have never expected anyone to notice them singing like that.
And now Sonic, of all the people in the world, Sonic knew now that Shadow was a nice person.
Sonic took a CD from his pocket, with the recording of the song.
His tongue was on his upper lip, leaning against the door, the CD in his hand, with a smiel across his face
as he stared pleasently at the CD.
"The... song... is on that CD...?" Rouge asked Sonic.
Sonic began to sing their song, being that the song had been saved on his very own files.
"One wait, final wait, through the door, save the day, find a more, comfomftorable, palce to stay..."
Sonic began, with Shadow's own voice coming from his mouth, but the voice wasn't Sonic's, and was almost like stealing,
for this voice wasn't his...
"NO! Don't you dare do what I think you're about to do you fake little runt of a hedgehog!" Shadow angrily
cursed Sonic.
"There's no use trying to be mean about it, Shad. Besides, you can't stop from airing it on the radio, tomorrow,
during Rush Hour, on a poular radio station... hm... how about, Z100!" Sonic said, rushing back into his
room with the CD.
Both Shadow and Rouge knew, that if Sonic aired their song on the radio during Rush Hour on a popular radio
station like Z100, which had one of the highest ratings for most poular radio station in the NYC area, which Dragon Lane was
actually conviently located in, then they would get noticed...
...and that's a bad thing...?
In his room, Sonic was looking at the CD, pondering solly on Shadow, himself...
He sighed, then though s'more.
Oh, Shadow... If only we could be together...
(I know what you're thinking, and the answer is yes. Sonic is gay, Shadow's a singer, and appartently Sonic
and Shadow don't have the best relationship together)
